Remote/Home Learning

Should your child need to self-isolate over the coming months, it will be important that they keep up with school learning so that they are able to move forward with the class.  A weekly timetable with links to resources will be made available and you will find it by logging in to Microsoft Teams and opening the correct class group files.  Your child’s class teacher will make regular contact with you and your child.

Should you wish to supplement your child’s learning, attached are a number of links to websites where you will find resources to support home learning. On our website at the bottom of the Curriculum and Planning section, http://www.shipbourne.kent.sch.uk/curriculum-information/, you will see Block Plans for Term 2 under each class heading plus a Yearly and Termly Maths Plan. These outline what topics children will be covering each week in each subject to help guide you as you select activities. The Overview and Progression documents above this section give more detail. Outlines for English wil be emailed separately.

Should a whole class or the whole school need to close, we will implement full remote learning in accordance with our Remote Learning Policy.  All timetables and resources will be made available and you will find them by logging in to Microsoft Teams and opening the correct  class group files.  All children are expected to complete the allocated activities and join all live teaching sessions.

Please do get in touch if you have any queries or experience and issues whilst accessing the resources.
